I had to block/report them to remove them from my recommended list, when that didn’t work I just removed the list altogether through an extension.

That’s definitely what’s happening, the question is why are Youtube/Google letting it happen for a while now…

Not sure why you’d say “videos against feminism, safe spaces, socialism” are not hot topics on the right / alt right. I haven’t seen anything else come out of the right wing insurgency. I also don’t think its a coincidence people like Ben Shapiro are pumped through the algorithm, but again there’s no way of knowing because there’s no transparency.
